I hold a doctoral degree as a psychologist and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT #40672). I have worked in private practice since 2001.

Marriage and Family Therapists are relationship specialists who treat persons involved in interpersonal relationships. They are trained to assess, diagnose and treat individuals, couples, families and groups to achieve more adequate, satisfying and productive marriage, family and social adjustment.

My practice focuses primarily on individual adults who are interested in enhancing their relationship with themselves in order to create more rewarding and successful relationships with others. Developing greater self-awareness and a more authentic self are the goals of this type of work.

On a personal note, I am bi-cultural (German and American) and I speak German fluently. I am originally from New York and have lived in San Francisco since 1996. I have spent my life developing greater self-awareness and striving to live the most authentic version of myself. I feel fortunate to be able use my own life's pursuits as my life's work. It is a privilege to be invited to help guide and bear witness to others doing the same in their own lives.
